The Spring show at Waldron Grove Alpaca Farm is really the opening to our year. The alpacas might be freshly shorn . Everyone is invited to meet the animals and all the great fiber artists. At Waldron Grove we have a farm store with all of the items created by hand with fiber from our own alpacas. Other fiber artists and a potter will also be here.
Come and learn all about fiber from the animal to the finished product:
• Felt and Fiber demonstrations – in spinning, carding, & felting
• Alpaca yarn and roving – kits to learn felting
• Original Artwork and paintings
• Originally designed Alpaca clothing and accessories
• hand thrown pottery for sale

Stunning felted clothing, lovely knitted artwear, woven wonders, and breathtaking jewelry are among the abundant handcrafted items on view and for sale during the Fine Art of Fiber, held at the Garden's Regenstein Center. The area's oldest, largest, and most unique fiber art event, the Fine Art of Fiber is hosted by Illinois Quilters, Inc., North Suburban NeedleArts Guild, and the Weavers Guild of the North Shore.
A complementary opening night, including early buying privileges, is from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday evening.
Viewers will enjoy an exhibition of more than 150 pieces, including , artwear, quilts, various types of needle art, knitting, weaving, wearable art, dolls, and jewelry. Sales boutiques offer a similarly wide variety of items for sale, including woven and knitted pieces, traditional and contemporary quilts, handmade holiday gifts, and much more.
